Love Rams, great color and personality a joy to watch. Getting a taste for Bettas since I accidently bought a male. Want an all Rainbow tank some day. Some days you're the pigeon and some days you're the statue. Remember that age and treachery will always triumph over youth and ability.

They're the first fish I ever kept, big variety of great colors and varieties, good personalities. Not long ago I got my first female betta, and just recently betta coccina. I also love my CA/SA cichlids...again, good personalities and colors. Paradisefish and kuhlis would be close to the top as well. Top of my fish-wish-list are an oscar or JD ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean

I think people get a little attached to the first kind of fish they keep. My blue ram is starting to grow on me though, and I definitely love the tiger barbs. First time I saw a tank with brichardis I stopped and stared at them with my mouth agape until my mom came and made me move. That was in a display tank at Kew Gardens. With plants. I find it hard to believe I ever saw them with any plants let alone pretty happy-looking ones. Odessa barbs are a close second. They're pretty fun little fish. And really nice to look at. ><>
