Alright, I'll be setting up a 120g in a week or two and am basically plotting tank mates. Here's the tentative list as of tonight. Mind you, I understand that the majority of these fish will outgrow the 120.

M.Tigrinus
1, possibly 2, P.Motoro stingrays
(if not Motoros, 1 Leopoldi ray)
P.E.Endlicheri
Cichla Temensis
Possible top swimmers (1): Florida Gar, Asian Arowana, Korean Perch, Wide Bar Datnoid, or perhaps a small group of Roktiel Severums

Now, I got this wild idea a few days back. Usually these ideas last a few days and I eventually move past them. However, a trio of Altum Angels has caught my eye. They look amazing. I don't think they'll work in the tank I have planned, but what do you guys think?

Don't worry, expect a log!

I don't think they'll work out either. For one thing, altums tend to be difficult to care for. They will need very clean water, and the proliferation of large and messy fish on that stock list won't help there. Altum angels would go great in a tank that size, but with fewer and smaller fish in my opinion.

As far as the rest of your stock, most definitely will outgrow the tank. It looks like you have a lot of predatory fish on your list as well, so feeding will need some consideration. I believe also that rays need a sandy substrate, to make burrowing easier and to prevent them from being injured. It is at least preferred.

One thing is for sure, you have some interesting fish on that list.

And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

I am in agreement with Books there. But, with the fish list you have there, eventually you will only have to worry about one of them out growing the tank, the tigrinus. As he will love to snack on most of the others when he gets larger. Especially in a tank that small.

And to add, you will need pristine water conditions for several of those fish you have listed. The Altums however, will need specific parameters as well. If I was you, I would wait for a larger tank (a much larger tank) or just stick to the smaller fish on your list. I would also probably stay with SA in my group. If an arowana is what you want get a silver or black SA arowana.

I figured as much. I'll probably do the pair of motoros, tig, endy, and gar or aro.
