Last time the eggs were guarded for 2 days, then they fungused. Falstaf has had 2 or more spawns in his community tank. I want to see them parenting the fry as I haven't seen that before. Falstaf![]() ![]() Fish Addict Posts: 785 Kudos: 1211 Votes: 196 Registered: 12-Feb-2004 ![]() | Hi, i've noticed that if you leave a light on during the night the eggs will be eaten, first 2 times i didn't left any light on, i had no problem with the fry, the last one i left a night light on and the next day the eggs where gone. For what i've seen parents are more than wonderful protecting the eggs, at leas mine have the whole rest of the fish in that tank swimming in the other half side and never permitting any of them to even close as far as the middle of the tank. |
