Just wondering if I can keep the two types together?

I assume you are talking about the freshwater angels and butterflies? They can probably be kept together safely, seeing as butterflyfish spend their time on the surface, while angels are more of a middle-dweller. Butterflyfish will usually not bother tankmates that don't invade their (the butterflyfish's) realm, and most angels are pretty peaceful. Then again, there are those angelfish out there that will nip at tankmates, especially those with long fins. For the most part though, these fish are socially compatible.

Just keep in mind that the size of the specimens and of the tank may have some effect on your success. How big are the fish in question, and how large is the tank? If they are near to each other in size, and the tank is at least twenty gallons, again, things should work out.

SIRBOOKS even thanks to your advise on Angels and corys today but my LFS's have none beside emrald corys and there bigger.

I have decided to get a pair of butterfly fish for the 29 with 2 angels.
