I have 2 full gown male angels in 29 gallon tank and I would like to introduce 2 male dwarf gourami. Can anyone tell me if they are compatible.
Fishprofiles.com doesn't list dwarf gourmis as compatible with FW angels. But can anyone give me any reason why they are not good tank mates I would grately appreciate it.

I keep Angels with Dwarves and other Gouramies. Absolutlely no problems. Completely ignore one another.

You find it more of an issue having 2 male Dwarves fighting amongst themselves. But it's usually just the occassional chase. I have 4 in a large tank with no problems.

Some days you're the pigeon and some days you're the statue.

Remember that age and treachery will always triumph over youth and ability.

Yes, they are compatable. I had Angels with Gouramis, without any problems. They'll be fine together.

I agree with the other two, these fish are perfectly compatible. Just remember that the males will chase each other (as mentioned), and that there should be a good amount of cover in the tank to prevent that from happening too much. When the males "fight", they don't do any damage, so you should be perfectly fine.

No problems at all. Like everyone said, the males Do chase each other around a bit, but it is very difficult to find female dwarf gouramis at any lfs. Reason is they are smaller and the colors are much less vibrant and very pale to greyish, so they don't sell as well (crappy reason, but what to do?). I have two males in a 10 gal tank, and they get along better than they did in the 29'.

My Angels and Dwarf Gourami's are happy together.

And damn the lfs for not carrying the female Gourami's, my boys are lonely...
