| Another 10 gallon | |
Guppy_man![]() Hobbyist Posts: 114 Kudos: 128 Votes: 1 Registered: 27-Oct-2003 ![]() | I just picked up another 10 gallon aquarium set for $25.It had the full flouresent hood, filter, and heater.I'm replacing the whisper filter with a penguin bio-wheel.Anyway I have no clue what to put in it.I am doing a kuhli loach only tank with my other 10 gal.And baby cories in another.I already have bettas,ADF's,platy's,pristellas, glowlights, danios, and guppies. So I want something else.I was thinking shellies, but I really don't want to spend alot of money on the setup because I already have gravel and stuff for it.I was also thinking rams, but looking for maybe something else as I have had rams in the past.I don't want puffers,or livebearers.I am looking for suggestions. |

I know I already have 3 in another tank, but they are good bottom feeders.Or would cories be better??? I'm just trying to get an idea of a setup for whatever fish I choose. Since you're already doing a kuhli only tank maybe something different in this one, like C. pygmaeus or C. habrosus? Some other fish suggestions: sparkling gouramis licorice gouramis dwarf gouramis cherry barbs smaller rasboras (Boraras maculatus, Rasbora dorsiocellata-dorsiocellata, Boraras brigittae, Boraras urophthalmoides) killies Cichlid-forum.com has some cookie cutter suggestions for 10g tanks here. They also like much warmer temperatures that most fish. 27-28 degrees. ![]() |

The tank has been going strong for about 8 months. The cherry barbs swim all around the tank and look great. |
