What incredibly awful fish, the poor little things are even more tacky than piano key ties. As if being a hybrid with a deformed jaw structure wasnt enough, then they have to be selectively bred for albinism, and then coloured with dyes by someone who is too bad artistically to be even a failed art student.

Putting dyes into fish like that ( cichlid relatives) is primarily whats started the resurgence of cauliflower disease (due to reusing needles from infected fish). It should be banned. How many wounds do you think it took to dye the fish like that with a hypodermic, and how long out of water? Its sick, just plain sick. ]:|

Who knows what the colouring agent was and what effect it has on the fish.

And did you notice the lips??? Thats just plain twisted.

The normal death rate for fish during and immediately after the dying process is anywhere from 75-90%... I wouldn't be surprised if it's much higher for those fish.

And not only are they dyed, but they are hybrids as well! [/font]

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

totally horrid
the sad thing is people will buy them, there would be people who think there "cool" or the ones that do not even know what these poor fish go through to look so "cool". i wonder how many fish stores dare to even tell a customer whos interested in buying them how they get there colour probably not all of them would.
yes it should be banned, its cruelty to animals! just like the Bettas you see in stores that have been put in with other fish that rip them to shreads ]:|]:|]:|
