Any experience with "BIO-Spira" | |
zman Hobbyist Posts: 76 Kudos: 73 Votes: 63 Registered: 19-Feb-2006 | I done alot of reading on "Marineland's" Bio-Spira product. is there anyone out there with a possitve or negative experience as the product is quite expensive...is it in fact all that it's touted to be? |

Then my levels where off again but not quit as severe. I would probably add it again only because it gave my tank the boost it needed, as I was to impatient to wait for it to happen naturally |

Janna Mega Fish Posts: 1386 Registered: 24-Aug-2003 | Bio-Spira really does work. It is a lot more humane than using hardy fish like danios to suffer through the bad water quality. I'd definitely recommend it They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver, So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces. |

After 4 days of continuous "feeding" with Bio Spira the tank was cycled. Nevertheless, I stocked slowly as the beneficial bacteria colony has to increase in size with any fish added. I haven't used it with my other two tanks as both got a headstart by being heavily planted. This way no cycling was required. Hope this helps, Ingo |
