I added it to my 29gallon tank. It gave my tank the necessary bacteria for a day or two, until I added more fish. Then my levels where off again but not quit as severe. I would probably add it again only because it gave my tank the boost it needed, as I was to impatient to wait for it to happen naturally

Bio-Spira really does work. It is a lot more humane than using hardy fish like danios to suffer through the bad water quality. I'd definitely recommend it

They shade the glow of it with their mossy-misty costumes,
They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver,
So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces.

zman,

I used it successfully on my 29G tank. After 4 days of continuous "feeding" with Bio Spira the tank was cycled.

Nevertheless, I stocked slowly as the beneficial bacteria colony has to increase in size with any fish added.

I haven't used it with my other two tanks as both got a headstart by being heavily planted. This way no cycling was required.

Hope this helps,

Ingo
