I have been searching for books about tropical fish and aquariums. Does anyone have any favorites they could share?

Thanks for the input. I think I'm going to start with Baensch's Aquarium Atlas, Volume 1

the baensch aquarium atlas volume 1 is very good, and the other volumes are worth getting too,the price for the paperback version has dropped this year to around £20 in the shops and you might find it much cheaper online or by mail order, (wish someone had told me that 3 years ago when i paid £50 for a hardback!)

For readers who might find such weighty tomes intimidating or expensive, some of the barrons series of small paperbacks are useful for basics, with some species specific information, and to be fair theyre much better than most of the commonly available TFH books found in most pet superstores.

But to be honest youd have to buy about 30 of them to get the same info thats in one of the baensch atlases, so bite the bullet and go for the more expensive book.

Yeah, I already checked the public library. It wasn't real impressive....
