I live in Oregon/USA and I was in one of the fish stores the other day and saw a sad site. The called it a pink tattoed giant gourami. It looked like a white gourami about 6" long and it had been tattoed in a hot pink scale pattern from the gills back to the tale. The sign said can grow up to 24". Has anyone seen this before(sorry I don't have photo capability) I thought it was pretty sad. I have heard of dyeing and injection fish but this topped them all.

they do, they get around 27", the sci name isOsphronemus goramy(a pic of how big they get i think it's bad enough that stores sell giant gouramis, because of their size and ppl might buy them young unknowledged, and it's horrible that they would do such a cruel thing to a fish

"$62.38, 3 for $171.55, 6 for $327.50"

HOLY COW! I COMPLETELY disagree with any form of artificial coloring on fish, but come on, at those prices, go buy YOURSELF a tattoo instead of one for your fish! Poor things! ]:|
