Most small frogs are persecuted and eaten by bigger fish, and larger frogs will readily consume fish. If youre thinking of a xenopus or african clawed frog or even the dwarf species you should know that they almost always require live food, and are not great in combination with fish.Species tanks are much better. |

I've never had dwarf frogs, but I currently have two african clawed frogs who are almost big enough to eat a betta and are growing quickly, so I definitely wouldn't recommend keeping those with a betta. |

The frog eats frozen bloodworms/mysis shrimp and brine shrimp, as well as prepared sinking pellets, he's pretty versatile. I've never seen my betta take a bite at him, but just be aware that some bettas will, it's always a possibility, so always have plan B ready to house one or the other in case of an altercation. |
