Just leave the Betta on his own in a small tank & use the 81 Litre tank for other fish.

Bettas are usually fine towards other fish, as long as they do not look like bettas (which is usually limited to smaller gouramis).

The main thing that you have to watch for when mixing bettas and other fish are what the other fish are going to do to the betta. Bettas are really calm and peaceful fish. So active fish may stress the betta out.

Also, bettas are not very good simmers. They need relitivly slow water otherwise they'll be blow around the tank. Also the filter intake can tear their funs up a LOT.
