 | Betta with Corys and albino Rainbow shark, and common plec |
Crazy_Coyote  Hobbyist Posts: 126 Kudos: 103 Votes: 17 Registered: 05-Sep-2005   | can i keep a betta in a 20 gallon with 4 albino corys albino rainbow sharks and a common plec or will my betta try to kill them all or end up getting killed itself, and will my plec try to suck on it. castlequest Fish Addict Posts: 661 Votes: 0 Registered: 15-Feb-2003  | I think you should rethink your stocking a bit. Common plecos get WAY too big for a 20g. I believe the rainbow shark also needs a much larger territory. Cories and a betta should be fine though. |

bettachris   Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 3875 Kudos: 4173 Votes: 452 Registered: 13-Jun-2004 | i would down size a bit, why not an otto instead of a pleco, and really given the tank set-up and filter, the betta can be fine or can't be fine. if u dont get the sharks and the pleco, then 1 betta and a few more coryies will do nicely together. but really bettas are best by themselves. |
