Posts: 2332 Kudos: 799 Registered: 18-Jan-2005 ![]() | So I got up this morning and started watching my fish before I actualy get out of bed as I normaly do and here I find my larger male Boesmani Rainbow all colored up swimming next to my biggest Giant Danio. They seemed to be kind of interested in each other. The male rainbow was really flaring his colors like I haven't seem him do before. Does anyone know how to tell the difference between a male/female Giant Danio? Might the try to bread? If so what kind of chance of any fry coming about are there? Anyways it was pretty neat to watch my male do his thing. 19G Container Pond [IMG]http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y118/Wingsdlc/Ric |

The rainbow may have only been "interested" in showing the danio who was prettier; sort of like the contests that male rainbows, tetras, etc. will have amongst themselves. That's my best guess, but I can't believe that the fish were interested in spawning. |
