1) i found the eggs start hatching 2-3 days after fertilization,
2) tiny
3) my male dident eat them, but thats not to say urs wont, but there is a 98% he will eat them all if he isnt removed at all
4) i fed mine on planaria, first bites, water fleas, and crushed flake, i have like 40 someodd left and they hatched 4 weeks ago, 1 has great bright red so far, and others are getting color as well my biggest is { } and my smallest is { } big
5) um u mean seperate the pair? well after she runns away! my male never pushed her at all, he just waited for her to come back, if i wanted i probly could have left this pair together and had them produce multiple spawns with the previous batch still in there, but i dont recomend it, and u remove the male when all the fry are free swimming

umm. for got the order but,
1) depending on the temp of the water, hatch 2-4 days
2) the male will mouth the eggs, but that is only to put sulivea on them, but some males will eat the eggs, ALSO if the eggs are infected then the male may eat them.
3) the babies will look like very tiny fishes*(a tiny circle with a tail)
4) the babies will eat = bbs, crushed up flakes etc.(u can try useing the liqifry but i dont like it.)
5) at about 2.5 months the male should be easy to find, at this point it is good to take the males out,(but if u are trying to sell the babies, then seperate all the babies INCLUDING the females so there will be no nips) but if u want to keep them, then u can leave the females together.
Good luck with all ur breeding,
Chris
