They are about an inch, I believe I have 2 females and 1 male. They are located in a 30 gallon rock tank <--((webshots link)) I have added more rocks than that pic. Is that a good breeding area? How big will they be when they spawn? I've heard they are very easy breeders...is this true? Is it likely that one of the two females will pair-up with the male? Any info will be great -Nick Last edited by nickman713 at 18-Jun-2005 00:02 |

If you turn the pot, they may breed in it aswell. They will probably start breeding very soon, as they are already 1 inch & mine started breeding when they where a little bigger than 1 inch. It's not very hard to breed Brichardi & good feeding & water changes will help you achieve it. They are very good parents & will take care of the fry, even when they get bigger. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

Just leave them on their own & hopefully they'll pair of soon, but both females may lay eggs & the male guard them both, even if not at the same time. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |
