Does anyone know anything about this? In my tank the fish often swim in the bubbles and they seem to enjoy it! Should I do something about this? |

I could not image that bubbles of air could harm fish since bubbles occur all the time in a natural enviorment. Your fish would not purposely hurt themselves, so i am pretty sure there is nothing to worry about. |

In nature fish love swimming in the bubbles they either go in there to hide or the larger ones go in there for a feed. Also fish swimming up rapids that is one big air bubble washing machine. Occasionally the platies would literally line up at the top of the tank and take turns, diving in one at a time. I work nights so I was also lucky enough to see my kuhlis playing in the bubbles as well. This pic was taken with my old, cheap camera but it's my platies and queen loaches having a good old time ![]() Theresa_M attached this image: ![]() ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |
