A couple of African Butterflies would be magnificent. Like the one in my avatar. If you don't have anything in the upper relm of your tank they would make your tank look complete.

Hmm..you got a 400L tank..thats what i wanted from the beginning,but ended up with a 280L..wounder when i will buy the 400l
I had some gouramis befor, pearl gouramis.
I think i will go with 2 blue rams or bolivian rams if i find them here.

I am at the moment looking at an 8ft by 2ft by 1.5ft tank that holds 680 litres robby but i am a bit worried it might be to heavy for the floorboards and crash through them. I would just love to have it though. Then the parrots could stay forever.

Parrot fish are great but they are happier in pairs. They grow very big though. I will have to re-home mine one day once they start to get to big. So you would have to do the same eventually. What about pearl gouramis they are nice and peaceful to just one of those would be happy. Here is mine the males is prettier mine is a male.

Oh Robby I made that mistake I got 2 kirbs coz I was told they would be fine with my fish but they was not. They ripped all my fish to bits. I had to get rid of them in the end. What about a fire mouth Robby I got a male and a female of them in with keyholes and they seem fine the male was a bit aggressive to the female at first and I thought he would have to go but they are settled now and get on with there own thing they don't even seem to acknowledge the keyholes at all but then my tank is a 400 litre as you know and there is loads of caves so they have enough to have one each lol. Attaching a photo of the male firemouth.

So far so good...the keyhole and the krib are doing great with the other fish.I don't think that the krib will be to aggressive, well maybe when he gets more mature..i don't really know..
some here said it will be ok with the other fish that i have
So you say that 2 keyholes is the best choice, what about 2 blue rams with the keyholes?
Robby

Robby, be very ware of that Krib,
they are african fish and should NOT be
mixed with non-african fish in my opinion.
They can be very hostile and extremely dangerous
in a community situation. I have seen the damage
an adult krib can do to a large angelfish.
The angel doesnt stand a chance, nor do
any of your fish.
They dont speak the same language as your other
fish, and this can cause serious problems, espescially
with a fish like a Krib. They have powerful jaws and big
boney teeth, and could rip your keyhole, shark, or angels
to shreds in a matter of minutes.
I would take that nasty fish back and get another keyhole.

There's no question about it. Blue rams. Forget about Bolivian rams. Nice as they are, they're not half as beautiful as blue rams, and nowhere close as entertaining. You'll enjoy looking at the blue rams not only for their colours, but also for their behaviour. Loaded with personality, there's always something going on between them. A bit like a married couple, they're either fighting and sulking, or making up and flirting, but a pair of blue rams will hardly ever get out of your sight and each other's.

Alex- Bala Sharks do not belong in a 75g tank. They get 14 inches or larger. They really need at least a 125g tank that is 6 feet or longer.
I second the Snakeskin Gourami idea, or a Moonlight Gourami. Someone on here has a fabulous moonlight gourami(s).
Another option Robby, how about some rainbowfish?
Irian Reds would look awesome with the Tiger Barbs, or Turqoise Rainbows. Barred rainbows (i had these before) are not as colorful overall, but get a fabulous body shape and have super nice fins, as well as nice subtle colors, if you like that sort of thing.
If you upped your school of Tigers to 10-12, you probably would be fine adding an angel or two. The tigers will probably be so busy being all nosy amongst themselves they wont bother the angels.

I don't think angels will be good to have, the barbs are nippy.
I will see if i find some keyholes, rams.
I will buy 2-4 more tiger barbs today.

In my 75gallon my centerpiece are my two angels. I have some very pretty fish but these two stand out like sore thumbs (good if you want them to be your centerpiece ). Mine are only half dollar size too... great fish.

Yeah, 2-4 more barbs and 4-6 more danios would be better. Then maybe a pair of keyholes, like suggested.
