I have a python tank cleaner which is great, but how do you clean your gravel with 30 babies swimming around? They're about 3/4 of an inch long.

I haven't used a python, but with my regular siphon hose I just make sure I watch what I'm doing with the end that's in the tank.

hi,does your tank REALLY need a vacume,i try to avoid vacuming when i have fry in my fry tank!IF i do,i just use my white bucket so if any fry do get sucked up,i can see them on the bottom and net them back out,and as said above i just try to be carefull,i usally just gentally wave my hand as i go and the fry tend to get out the way.maybe just a SMALL water change instead of a vacumejust a thought!

The gravel is getting a little icky, but the water is very clear. I guess it isn't necessary.

The fry will soon move out of the way just be careful when you are using the Python. Can you check the outlet just in case some get sucked through?

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

stocking over the end. You can change the water that way, just not vac. You'll still need to avoid the fry though.
