Man I love my discus. When I put some shrimp pellets in my tank my fish go crazy. Well one time my discus was eating pellets off of the bottom and a cory comes along. The discus wanted all the food for himself so he tries to chase the ciry away. And the funny thing is....... my discus cant be mean. The cory just ignored him and continued eating. It is sooo funny when my discus tries to chase other fish away. They ignore him.

Well, it's hard to be afraid of a swimming frisbee...

I mean, as far as cichlids go, a discus isn't the most intimidating.

Haha, that would be a funny sight to see. However, I'd like to see that cory get that brave in front of my Dovii or my Midas.

wish we could see that...i mean it sounds as amusing as my male guppy and the shrimp having a face off, at the bottom of the tank...

Heh, my Pandas become complete bulldozers when the live food hits the water. They even push the Lemon Tetras to one side if they think the Lemons are going to snatch the tastiest morsels from them.

I've even seen Mata Hari run over an Otocinclus like a truck running over a small child. Poor Otocinclus was barrel rolled. Didn't do much harm though, Otocinclus dusted itself down and carried on hunting among the gravel for bloodworm the Pandas had missed. Which mine do.

Once they're burping away contentedly however, it's a different story. More decorous manners you couldn't imagine. Till it's time to spawn, then it's madcap frolics all over again.
