Dead puffer every time.Dont do it, it would be slaughter. An oscar would consider a dp to be live food , and rubbish live food at that. Its also possible that dps are a bit toxic , as most puffers are, so youd probably just give the oscar food poisoning. Oscars will eat feeder fish, but they're not the best food for your fish. They're a good treat food, say once a week or so, but they shouldn't be the sole food. A quality pellet/stick/freeze dried/frozen (ideally a mixture of all types) would be miles better than just feeder fish. They contain all the nutrients and variances in textures that will make your oscar thrive and live gracefully and in extrordinary colour for years to come. Oh, and welcome |

Dwarf puffers are tiny slow moving fish. |

A lot of goldfish are little disease factories, especially the ones you can find cheap. |

They are unhealthy foods, and can transmit whatever malady they have to the unlucky critter that eats them. Feeder fish are often shipped to stores in such poor condition that most of them die in transit. The dying just continues as they sit in the feeder bins or tanks. You'd be surprised to know how many dead feeders accumulate at just one fish shop in a day. |

All of them. Furthermore, dps do reportedly produce a fairly lethal tetratoxin, so it's a lose-lose situation any way you look at it. |
