Can I get one of these in my 55 gallon? Do they have to be in groups? How many can I get? what kind of fish are they?

Can I get some in my tank? How many?

This fish is an annual killifish coming from a regions of Africa where he water supplies frequently dry up. They reach sexual maturity in five months and will reach a ripe old age after one year.

They are reasonably peaceful in the aquarium although the males will become territorial during spawning. I would think that a ratio of one male to two or three females would be good but I would set-up a 10G for these fish with rocks and fine leafed plants.
