| FIRE EEL FOOD | |
IvannaFish![]() Small Fry Posts: 2 Kudos: 3 Votes: 0 Registered: 23-Sep-2005 ![]() | I have a fire eel that I purchased from my LFS about a week ago and she's doing great. I do however have a question about feeding her. She seems to only want frozen bloodworms. I have tried pellets, flake, live feeders and she shows no interest in any. She also seems hungry all the time. She eats 3-4 floating gumdrops at a time per day and still begs for more. How much and how often is safe? She is about 18" and has great girth. ![]() |

Every spiny eel I've dealt with loves them. They are also good food for hand-taming your fish. ![]() I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |
