Neons, which are similar to cardinals, are the natural prey of angels. Some people have been successful keeping them together though. Livebearers should be fine, just remember the angels will most likely eat they fry. For a schooling fish I'd recommend harlequin rasboras, or a peaceful barb depending on what's available in your area. I'm not sure about combining angels and gouramis. With that size tank you could get an BN plec, which are interesting looking and great algae eaters. You could have a group of cories or loaches, or even both. Many, many choices for cories. For loaches I'd recommend queens or yo-yos. Good luck and keep us posted ![]() ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |

Personally I'm not a big fan of tetras, I prefer the more active barbs and corys. It's always a good idea to look thru your local fish store (LFS) and see what's available there before looking thru the profiles. I've had a number of times where I find the perfect fish...only to get to the LFS and have them tell me they've never heard of it .^_^ [hr width='40%'] It only hurts when I breathe" ![]() |

A cycled tank will have readings of zero ammonia, zero nitrIte and nitrAtes present 10ppm or so. Enjoy the zebras they're real fun to watch. My guys love playing tug of war with a bit of thawed pea .^_^ [hr width='40%'] It only hurts when I breathe" ![]() |
