P.S.

I have seen many of "LFS" that have had feeders in 100g+ environment.

Is this the norm? Probably not but I know they are out there.

I dont have a problem with someone feeding live fish provided they are difficult feeders that wont accept much else.

I dislike it when people are only feeling live fish because they like the thrill they get from watching a feeder get torn to shreds while the oscar (or whatever else) plays with it until its half dead. Many times i've heard people talk about how cool it is to hear the feeder get crushed in the mouth of the fish or bitten in half etc... CRUEL, and something I dont want to hear about.

Before you criticize someone walk a mile in their shoes. That way you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

My sentiments exactly.

There are more humane ways to feed live fish and less humane ways. I described a least humane way to feed live fish to pirahna in my first post above. Humane in that circumstance would have been smaller fish.

I hardly watch many of the nature shows anymore because it's like something is getting killed every 10 minutes - and painfully. Sure, it happens in the wild, but creatures have so many more interesting behaviors than simply killing and eating. I miss the old Mutual of Omaha's Animal Kingdom and Jacque Coustea's who use to spend the time to tape a variety of behaviors. But somehow culture has turned into one that craves the gore and the thrill of the kill.
