Just remember to keep up with weekly water changes, once your tank has cycled. It is important to keep good water quality, as I'm sure your fish will agree. One note- Clown loaches will grow to about a foot in captivity, and certainly need more than ten gallons in the long term. Also, they are social fish that should be kept in groups of at least three. Though they are very slow growers, they do experience growth spurts. You never know when your clown will make a jump in size, especially as young clown loaches grow more quickly than older ones. I have that model filter and run plants in the tank. the only filter part is the cartridge you slide in it. |
