Hi gang. I have recently moved to a house, out of the apartment I have been in 4 years. Yay me. I waited until I had just about everything moved and in its place at the house. Once the stand was up for the 10 gallon tank I quickly removed the betta into a tupperware bowl with a nice lid, saved half the water and scurried to the house, a nere 4 miles away. Got him all set up and he's livin large. A few days later I made it a point, I was gonna move the 30 or else. So, this morning I went over there, moved as many fish as I could get (still haven't seen my 2 yo-yos) into a container with air and a heater, drained what water I could into another storage bin and added the fake driftwood thingy from petsmart. It's hollow and I know the yo-yos like to live inside it. Then I removed the rest of the water and half the gravel (there was twice as much as I needed) and rushed to the new place and set it all back up. Once the water temp was stablized the guys and d/w decoration went back in. This evening I will check them out and perhaps give a light feeding. I hope the loaches come out ok, I'm a bit worried that I've not seen them yet.

The loaches will possibly hide for a few days dont worry about that. Did you add any stress coat type to the tank?
I also would feed very sparingly and then only every other day for at least a week this will also help if they are a bit stressed out they will eat less and your excess food could cause problems.

Other than that looks like you are on top of it.

Have a look in [link=My Profile]http://

The Loaches might be stressed & are hiding. Just give them a few days & you'll see them again.

Yes of course stress coat was added first thing as soon as the water was in and again the following morning. The loaches, I'm happy to report, actually popped out of their d/w decoration soon after making this thread. All have made it and are happy in their new surroundings./:'
