I have 4 babie newts, and 1 adult newt. Well, the adult newt doesnt take kindly to the other newts being around the food while it is in the tank, and the adult will bite and tear up the little ones. I just looked in the tank, and i saw one with a leg that looked like it was bitten off and it started to grow back (you can see the little toes on it) but he isnt using the leg at all. The newt is perfectly fine with the others when there is no food in the tank, it is just when the food is in the tank. What can i do to stop the agression? I dont want my new newts getting killed by the bigger one. |

How long does it take for newts to grow full size? WHen i fed them yesterday, there wasnt much agression. |
