Frozen food is food that is, well, simply frozen.

Freeze-dried food on the other hand undergoes a more complex procedure. Look at [link=This Link]http://www.freezedriers.com/about.htm" style="COLOR: #ff6633[/link] for more info.

Your fish will love the frozen food, just thaw it first.

What exactly is the difference though? Is one better then the other?

Freeze dried foods have all the moisture sucked out of them. Basically anyway. Which means alot of the nutritional value and smell that attracts the fish is lost. Also feeding lots of freeze dried foods can cause health problems with the lack of moisture. Frozen food is just the bloodworms or whatever frozen... It retains almost all the nutrition of live food and fish are attracted to it more than freeze dried.

comparing the 2...its the frozen one thats better...as sham said..the freeze dried lost much of its nutrients...but still gud enuf to feed to fish....and its more convenient to handle (u just keep it in cool dry place) while the frozen one...it has retained the smell and the nutrients...just that u need to keep it in the freezer and thawing it b4 serving.
