So a while back I was cring about not having any guppy fry. Well all of that has changed now. I think I have at least 40 of them in my planted tank. To add on to that I put my pair of convicts into a 20 gallon to let them breed. I now have about 200 convict fry. Lets just say that I should watch what I am wishing for.

Get ready...if you have one batch of guppy fry there's an almost 100% chance another batch will be only about 5 weeks behind the first...then a third and maybe a fourt and fifth! Guppies generally have 3-5 batches from one mating.

Umm yeah Super great! I guess it is time to start feeding them to my other fish as planed. Just a bit sooner than I planed. I think I might have to get rid of a couple of the females too. Right now I have 3 male and 4 female.

Edit: Wow I need to think and type at the same time......I suck....

welcome to the joys of livebearer life

but may i make one additionguppies can be mated once, and then still have fry for 6-9 months afterwardsand each and every batch will get larger and larger and larger things can get quite insane by that timebecause they can start breeding at 3-5 months, and so on and so forth:%)before you know it, well use your imagination

Have fun, and congratulations heidi

With those Guppy's, you'll be feeding lots of live food.
