I'm assuming that the goldfish fry and the angelfish fry are still tiny, even if they are freeswimming. If you put them in with the guppy fry, make sure the guppy fry are not picking on the egglaying fry. The guppy fry can be surprisingly aggresive towards smaller organisms when hungry. You also need to remember that goldfishes have different temperature requirements. If they are accustomed to higher temps than what is typical, then they might be safe. Otherwise, they might not be too healthy. Are you planning on letting the angelfish parents take care of the fry for any amount of time? |

Is it a good idea to remove fry once they are free swimming or is that a bad idea? Gee Gee !!I think I just learned somthing new!! |

As long as the Angels are big enough that the guppies couldn't fit them in their mouths I think you'd be ok. Have fun, Mike |

Float your fry and let them go in the big tank. Yes, you will risk losing a few, but in the long run, you won't loose that many. Then it takes care of the guppy fry eating (still sounds crazy to me) the angel or goldfish fry. And honestly they will do quite fine in the plants (or mine have, I currently have the antbed problem with fry in the adult tank--then again, maybe my adults are too well fed?)Then run to wal-mart; petsmart; somewhere and get yourself a small 10 gallon, they are $10 or less, petsmart right now they are $7.50...or get 2 of them, and your problem is fixed... Like I said just my two cents, best o luck...Heidi "I've got a great ambition to die of exhaustion rather than boredom." Thomas Carlyle |
