I've got fully grown boesemanis, cardinals, glo lites, some killies, bettas, harlequins, brilliants etc etc. All my "little" fish are fully grown. What kind of fish are you talking about?

I have several full grown fish, tho most of mine are traded out before they reach full size. When you start talking 8-14 inch fish just for the sake of having him or a 6 inch breeder, the breeder wins hands down. the only ones I keep are ones that have for one reason or another managed to form some sort of bond with me or my wife.

Most fish grow very slowly for their whole life, so there really isn't such a thing as "fully grown".

I had an 8" porcupine puffer in Seattle, although he will get much larger over the years he's not growing fast now.

I've also had fully grown blue gouramis in the past - 4" female and 5.5-6" male.
