Hey all... haven't written in a while. I just revamped my 60 gallon. I added some natural colored gravel, a blue background, some natural driftwood and some slate rock. I have some neon tetras, a pleco, some tiger barbs, a betta and some white skirt tetras. Eventually I would like to get something different... once i don't have these fish... not for another while for sure. Anyway, i was wondering what different kind of fish...exotic, bigger or whatever... would be nice to have in a 60 gallon high with the natural setting.
any suggestions would be appreciated.

A pair of angels and 2 schools of tetras would be nice. You already have neons and white skirts, so I don't know if you want more tetras. Rummynose tetras are very colorful and school very nicely. They are my favorite tetra.
Also, a pair of German or Bolivian rams, along with tetras is also another choice. IMO Germans are more colorful. My female is very peaceful and colorful. She swims with the tetras in my 55g.
I don't have experience with exotic or different fish. I have a 10g, a 5g, and a 55g and all have common fish in them. In my 55g, I have an angel, a German ram, cories, yoyo loaches, tetras, a BN, and ottos. Nothing really different. This was my first big tank so I just made it a peaceful community.
Maybe others who have more exciting and exotic fish could give you more suggestions. Good luck!:%)

Before you anymore fish, I would get rid of the tiger barbs. I am sure you could give them to a friend or to your fish store. Tiger Barbs really should not be in that tank with your tetras, they are probably stressed out. Also, whattype of pleco is it. Is your tank planted? How many of each fish do you have? These factors are all important in choossing your next fish.

my tank is not planted..and i was asking what would be a good choice once all these fish die off... no intention of killing them by any means..just for future reference..

but i actually bought 2 oscars for my 60 gal. and they look happy. they're still small.. my other fish have been temporarily placed in a 20 gal... the fish that I can't house together in a 20 gal. will either be given to some friends or back to a petstore that accepts fish.

thanx for ur input
