In the one tank I tested these were the results. KH----125 ppm GH----197 ppm 197???????? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Im guessing I have hard water. The results of my tap are pretty much the same. If there is any difference, my tap is a little under my test results. As a result my highRange ph is 7.8. The highest number to read on my color cards for ph is 7.6. My test tube is as blue as ther 7.6 but my ph may be higher. I have some Correct PH tabs that are suppossed to put ph betwwe 6.8 and 7.2. Should I use these? In the tank are 4 cheery barbs and 2 albino cories. The tank is cycled. Ammo is 0. Should I even worry about the gh and kh? Or just the ph?? |

Hate to say this, but you can ignore the PH as long as it stays constant. For those fish they can adapt to hard water. I have an entire tank of soft water fish in water that african cichlids breed in. Just keep everything constant and your fine. |
