 | GOT A BULLY DANIO |
acidfish Small Fry Posts: 2 Kudos: 2 Votes: 0 Registered: 13-May-2005   | I have 4 zebras , 5 black neons , 2 swordtails and a pleco in a 20 gal all the zebras are fine but one of them just keeps chasing my black neon it's quite annoying that he is such a bully is there anything I can do other than takeit back? just wondering thanks |

Cichlid Keeper   Big Fish Posts: 368 Kudos: 466 Votes: 304 Registered: 17-Aug-2003 | Zebra danios being schooling fish feel much safer and secure when there is a school of there own kind in the tank. When there is not enough danios present to make up a school,the danios may in fact start picking at certain other fish in the tank trying in fact just to get them to school with them. This most likely is just whats going on in your tank. Adding at least 3 more danios (6 being the minium to make up a school) should solve your problem. Hey by the way, Welcome to FP |
