i use a handy chopper and ground it up with some freeze dried bloodworms and some colour enhancing pellets vegetables add a little bit of water so it freezes, freeze it cut it into squares, the Oscar loves it. i dont think the parsley will have any effect what so ever.

I dunno about garlic powder, but purely mashing real garlic would probably do the same job. I dunno about the difference between packaging, shipping, and preserving garlic versus garlic powder, but my hunch tells me that using a real garlic probably runs on less of a track with things such as preservatives and more on one that's more... organic, for lack of a better term.

In any case, I haven't really looked into the studies of garlic actually being a help, although there are people who do believe it helps with fish immunity. In any case, yes, for some reason fish can be quite attracted to the foods with garlic in it. It is sometimes used to get pickier fish to eat. However, I'm not entirely sure how wide garlic's use is. Can't hurt, though, unless you use too much.

Seachem will probably have something on it, check GarlicGuard.

It is also used as a wormer by some people, I wouldn't rely on it to be 100% effective, but its something to keep in mind
