I would up the danio count a couple and add one more keyhole and rainbow. I would cut out a couple t-barbs to, to something like 8.

I would make sure your BN goes in last unless you have had the tank up and running for a while and have some aglae going already. Other than that I would say start with the Tiger barbs and giant danios. Then just go from there.

With the fish you have, and the size of your tank, as long as you have hiding places on each side of the tank, it really does not matter which you put in first of last.

So thats really not too many fish? Which fish would you say I should put in first and then last?
Maybe I should make my schools smaller or will this be ok?

Thank you! I am so happy to hear that I have finally found a good stocking plan that I can have all the fish that I hoped for in my aquarium and they will go well together.
2 keyhole cichlids
5 Giant Danios
7 skirt tetras
10 Tiger barbs
8 panda cory or emerald cory
7 praecox rainbowfish
1 bristlenose pleco
Thanks again!

Those fish should be just fine together. And actually, depending on the school sizes of the different fish, you have more than enough room for these fish and some more.

Keyhole; a really nice SA cichlid. Does great as a pair, will breed, and just an all around nice fish for your size tank.

Festivum cichlids; again, a nice SA cichlid. Does great as a pair, will breed, and just an all around nice fish for your size tank. However, with some of the fish you are looking at, especially the tiger barbs, the long ventral "gourami like" fins that these fish sport, may get nipped away. Not always, but there is that risk.

Tiger barbs; a nice little active fish. They come in several varieties and colors. Keep them in schools, from 5 or 6 to as many as you like. They have been known to be fin nippers. So just watch them, and/or just keep other fish that are quicker, more aggressive, and/or don't sport finage that can attract these types of behaviors.

Skirt tetras; a nice little atractive tetra. Schools of 6 or more will be very nice looking in your tank.

A school of corys; most all types of these fish will not do well at all, unless kept in schools of at least 6 or more. There are many varieties, and they all come with a different price range. They are a great little clean up crew for the bottom of the tank.

Is that too many fish?
If you are keeping all your fish to the smaller sized ones, that are less than 3 inches full grown, I would go with 1 inch of fish per 1 gal of water, to get a general determination of the amount of fish you keep in there. Reminder though, this rule is not precise, and is not the best of rules, but usually works out well for fish that are not larger than 3 inches.

Some added suggestions;

A good pleco, to help with the algae control. Such as one or a pair of bushynose plecos. Maybe a rubbernose, or green emerald (L200). All of these guys are primarily algae eaters even after maturing and becoming full grown.

Some Rainbows. Your tank is a nice size for a group or several different pairs and such, of the rainbow family. Nice atractive, very active, peaceful fish. Stay with those that remain under 3 inches fully grown. Such as the praecox, parva, and there are many others.

Thanks for the help
Im thinking of keeping
Giant Danios
Keyhole or festivum cichlids
Tiger barbs
Skirt tetras
and a school of corys.
Is that too many fish? Would they go together? What should my school sizes be?
Thanks again for the advice

I have a bubble wall and a big Rock with an airstone inside so that will help with more air in the tank wont it? The bubble wall is about 24' long so it goes through most of the back.

Yep, would mostly depend on tank size.
Most fish can be kept with Giant Danios.

I have them and some rainbows in my 55 with a pair of convicts. Being that you have a pretty good sized tank you could try Severums and Firemouths if you want to try cichlids.

They're very fast & active, never seem to stop moving, and they look great in a large school. Mine are in a 75g with a blue acara, a snakeskin gourami, an angel, and 3 clown loaches.

Lake kutubu rainbows would be perfect, temp range, size, feeding, and water qualities are compatible and they are at least as active as the danios. I put an entry in on the profiles, check it out. Some other rainbows like it warmer from 75 up as oppose to 75 down so choose carefully.Dont forget youll need good oxygenation for a lot of such active fish, youll be helped by the cooler temps as oxygen saturation is higher in cooler water.
