jevousdeteste![]() ![]() Banned Posts: 8 Kudos: 7 Votes: 0 Registered: 27-May-2005 ![]() | I saw the following advertised: 15 gallon aquarium with everything you need. $45. Tetra Whisper Advanced Power Filter(practically new) Undergravel filter set-up 4-pack of Tetra Whisper Bio-Bag filter cartridges Tropical Fish Flake food Goldfish Flake food Aquarian Growth food C-100 Water Purifier Tetra ContraChlorine Tetra AquaSafe 1 bottle PH Down PH Indicator Drops + 2 vials 1 extra T-Valve + whatever tubing and valves I already have hooked up Tetra Whisper Algae Scraper(this is really cool) Fish Net 3 Pumps(2 are shown, the other is hooked up) 2 Plants Gravel Hood w/light Heater Thermometer 1 large Goldfish about 4 in. long 2 Tiger Barbs I'll sell the tiger barbs and the goldfish back to a pet store, considering the goldfish is way too big to be in a 15g or 38g, and I don't think that the tiger barbs would be happy in a 38g with my mollies and platies. I was thinking about using the 15g as a grow-out tank for my platie/molly fry. Anyway, good deal or am I being screwed? I figured that this was pretty nice for $45. P.S.: Why is your name "i hate you"? any specific reason? Last edited by Hooktor at 05-Jun-2005 22:27 |

Goldfish do not belong in that sized tank. Common "feeder" goldfish are much too large and active to be kept indoors and really need ponds (goldfish are carp after all ). If it's a fancy goldfish it'll need a 75 gallon tank as a minimum. Don't bother with the UGF it's going to be more trouble than necessary. No wonder they're selling the tank....looks like they didnt know much of anything about fish and didnt bother to find out .^_^[hr width='40%'] The life, the love, You die to heal.
