Just make sure you inspect everything carefully to makes sure there are no problems. I've bought several used tanks in the past with no problems ever with them, however I've had a couple that weren't so great. Jim ![]() ![]() ![]() |

In this way, you wouldn't be overstocked & you can enjoy your tanks more. ![]() http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.deathbydyeing.org/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

But the notches (which I assume hold the wheels) are there and the carbon pouches are identical and this may be common knowledge to everyone I dont know. I am also unsure if the motors are differnt or if the only differnce is the tag. I always thought the walart filter was a cruddy one but if it is infact a biowheel chassis what stops me form cutting the tops and adding a hood to controll the splashing? Anyways, Is there any reason to utilize the power heads and an UGF with the biowheel on the back? I have the two power heads but i dont have the mounting bracket for them I plan on using them with my AquaClear 50 on my brackish tank. So in the end I have one hydor 300w heater thats thermostat is WAY off so in the lowest setting it is over heating the tank near to 90f. Three other heaters two air pumps two air stones 3 UGF 20 30 55g aquariums the fish three large aquarium fixtures that arnt half bad a mess of little fixtures and some crappy and some ok plastic plants I am not planning on using them as a matter of fact i may make the 20g a hospital tank with a ton of plants that i use to grow out plants and such and possibly two male molly. other then that i think that i have enough stuff here to take care of me for a while. On another note, the nitrite test kit that came with this all has a bottle of solution that sounds to have crystalized is this bad or is this normal and I just need to shake the crap out of it? |
