I've been doing that for quite too long, and have way tooooooo many fry that survive...:88) "I've got a great ambition to die of exhaustion rather than boredom." Thomas Carlyle |

I would put the guppy fry back into the tank the female guppy is in. It does not sound like you are THAT concerned with losing a few if you are willing to feed them to your angel. Another option is to get a breeding net and use that to put them back in with the female guppy. I use a breeder net to help give my platy fry an opportunity to grow out. As for leaving them in with the breeding bettas. That I would not do. My main concern would not be the guppy fry eating the platy fry. The bettas would eat the guppy fry, and the last thing you want is to encourage something like that before the male has his own fry to raise. Some males already look at their young as food as it is! Good luck! |

I think it's more of a challange breeding Betta's than Guppy's. ![]() http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/album?.dir=b5f2 http://www.deathbydyeing.org/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |
