Now to answer the question...I wouldn't put him in the tank with them while he is growing his claws back...those cichlids seem to be more on the aggressive side and might think of him as a tasty little defenseless snack, then bang you are out some major bucks, and a cool new water pet...so no, put him in a 10 gallon or some other quarantine tank till he has his defenses back... heidi "I've got a great ambition to die of exhaustion rather than boredom." I highly doubt they'd try to eat the crawfish. The only one I'm not as sure about is the acara because I've never kept blue acaras. I would be surprised to hear of severums or firemouths killing and eating a crawfish. ![]() |

On the other hand I have two males that are milder personality. If you decide to put him in, just keep a close watch. ___________________________________________ If at first you DO succeed, try not to look astonished. |
