iam figuring on what to get at my lfs because iam going tomorrow...i plan on getting a load of live plants and some fish. I alredy have 2 cherry barbs, one gold barb, 3 pristella tetras, and two corys. These fish are all in a 10 gallon tank. Would it be alright for me to add 2 angels or even one? Do they need a companion? Are there dwarf angels for small tanks? And if it wouldnt be alright could i still add 2 corys to my tank????

TIA

Angels get way too big for a 10 gal. I had one hospitalized in a 10 for 2 weeks and she was very cramped. I would take the gold barb and tetras back and get 4 more corys, they like to be in groups.

Corys like to be in a group of 6 and so do gold barbs. gold barbs are also a little big for a 10 gallon. why don't you take back your gold barb and get:
2 cherry barbs
4 corys
4 pristella tetra
This will be ok for a 10 gallon as long as you do good water changes and have a good filteration system. You might even be able to have 5 corys. What type of corys are they?
