If you can, just lower the water, but make sure you don't break the bubble nest. The lower it is, the easier for the Betta to pick the eggs.

big relief

i lowered the water level, pushed the slate closer to the wall, and added some small size bubble wrap (dont remember who had this idea first...but...THANK YOU!!!)

i actually caught him sleeping on the jobbut i havent seen anymore eggs fall sence he got them all up, and built more nest and i forgot to add the saran wrap the poor boy the humidity wasnt high enough to sustain a nest but its doubled or trippled in size now, and he is taking a well deserved rest

a way i did it was (first when in the breeding tank start with a very low water level) and the turn on a small light for the night on the tank, so the male will remain active and see the baby. unfortunally you will lose alot of betta fry(that's why there are so many) i would always leave a light on.

he was howing stress striped real bad this morn so i remved him (and accidently caught 4 fry with him)into a 1 gallon for treatment, its not looking too good, i went full dose, and the fry in there r still alive its amazing, but i cant removing them i think they would slip through the net, and they r looking fine now, so i will keep feeding them the the brine shrimp population just BOOMED!!!! u used to only be able collect once in the morn, but i fed them before i left for school, and came home to a full thingy (its a shrimpery so the bottle they swim up in to) so they r eating the shrimp, and im feeding first bites too they r all free swimming, and i han see a huge diffrence in these fry than my firts batch, these r much stronger darting around like normal healthy fry, i think it was the inbreeding that killed the last batch but, now there is no chance of them being inbred im starting to remove the gravel now that they can get out of the way, i am so very happy

oh, and whats that site that tells u if u breed X with Y u get Z? er, thats what im calling it
