Hey guys,
I have decided i dont like either of my LFS around here. I went and purchased 3 schwartz corys to go with my other 2 and my unknown, and lo and behold...guess what? They didnt sell me schwartz cory's, they sold me leucomelas
, now what am i supposed to do. I dont want to take them back Maybe i will just have to make my cory tank one of the 3 different kinds i have now!! sorry, just needed to rant for a little. So currently I have 2 schwartz corys, 3 trilleneatus, 1 unknown, and 3 leucmelas, how did i get into this mess? Maybe ill take them all back and get 6-8 of the SAME kind......any ideas? I really dont want to part with them

Sam

If they look somewhat similar they'll still tend to shoal.

Weren't you there when you bought the fish? How did they slip by?

They'll be fine.. they're a loose schooler and recognize it by shapes and patterns.. They'll still tend to stick around each other

most stores sell fish under different names especailly here where i live
theyd rather hire a pretty gurl to sell fish then someone who actually knows anything bout the fish not the gurls fault but its a good marketing trick

Yesterday, I was at a (lets not mention the name) department store that sells fish. A couple were buying fish for the first time. They asked the store employee about the fish they had chosen and the employee told them, "Oh I don't know anything about fish, I just work here!" They wanted to get two plecos, and I quickly talked them out of it as their tank apparently was not the big. Now for the real shocker. The customer then asked me how much clorine (bleach)to add to the water, with the employee just standing there. Needless to say, I told her NONE!
It was just unbelieveable and I needed to let of some steam.
