Today I went to my 55 gallon to find one of my favorate fish DEAD :#(:#(]:|:#( My weather loach I have spoken of before on this site, even showed some pics...


He lived almost 7 years, It would have been more, seeing I was only in care of him for 3 of thoses years, the other four was in the care of someone who knew nothing about fish :#(:#(

I am happy he lived THAT long under the conditions he had before...

Now it leaves me with a almost empty tank, 55 gallon as said. The tanks owners a RTBS and two swordtails.


I would like to know what other fish I could put in now?

Any suggestions welcome,

You can add some Pearl Gourami or a school of big bodied Tetras.

First, I'm very sorry for your loss Yesterday I posted about finding my female krib doing very poorly. She's one of my fish I've had the longest, but no where near three years.

Have you had any thought about what you'd like? I was thinking of maybe a centerpiece, something with personality, and some sort of school. I really like my snakeskin gourami...you could have one with harlequin rasboras or tetras. Mine lives with neons and it never bothers them; snakeskins are quite peaceful. Or perhaps something like a blue acara or severum with giant danios?

I really like Angelfish but I have some already and I don't know what I can put with them besides what I already have

If you know any fish besides corys and butterflyfish.
I am also not a fan of small small fish unless they have a cute or cool looking face
I like the slighty bigger fish.
Also color but its not that important.

My weather loach was such a friendly fish, I would get one again later down the road, so I don't feel bad

Anyone? They have to be bought this weekend as the hubby is home to approve, My MTS has gotten me to the point where I need to ask

Mind you hes silly enough to get me tanks for gifts


SO any help would be great, I like the acara, those will get along with swordtails and an RTBS??? If so how many??


ALso
If I were to get angels how many could I get at one time?
How many should be added to only a 50 ( checked the gallons it is 50 instead of 55 like I stated before oops)
