You can tone down a little on the caps lock there- it looks like you are yelling.

I'd go for just one large school of tetras, or *maybe* two schools of six small tetras apiece. You really can't do any better for "eye catching" in such a small tank. I recommend either eleven cardinal tetras, or six cardinals and six lemons. Cards are very beautiful, though lemon tetras are lovely as well. Both of them together look truly magnificent with the right gravel and background. I should know, I've got some of each in my tank! Not only are this fish (both species) beautiful, they are also fun to watch. I never tire of the jousting or darting actions of my tetras. I wholeheartedly recommend either tetra species.

And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

dwarf gourami. They are brightly colored, small, and interesting (like all gouramis, which use their pectoral fins as feelers)

some male guppies can be bred to get magnifficent coloring, i have a male with a buttercup yellow dorsel fin, with a black moon in the middle i also have bread the females to have bright blue tails, maybe u could go for a pair of eye catching males and the most colorful female u can find, the colorful female will take in the males' colors nicely and u could get some very nice looking young
