crazyred Fish Addict LAZY and I don't care :D Posts: 575 Kudos: 360 Votes: 293 Registered: 26-Aug-2005	I agree...this whole fish size deal had me confused, so I actually held a ruler up to my tank one day and the results were shocking...none of my fish were as big as I thought they were. My 10 harlies range in size from .5" to 1.25" My pleco that I thought was just HUGE was 4". So eyeballing can be deceiving, use a ruler, and don't include the tail. All seven of my harlies look around 1.5 to 1.75 inches but I'm sure that they aren't that large. The next time you need to net one out, see just how small they really are. I just love my harlies. First fish in all my tanks!
