Gerber77![]() Fingerling Posts: 44 Votes: 0 Registered: 02-Feb-2005 ![]() | I went to my LFS and got three fish called "Fire Barbs" but have never seen any profiles on them. these fish are bright orange with a small black spot on the caudle pununcle. they are very active and swim around the top. |

The males have a bright red/orange bar along their sides and yellow, spotted fins. They have a black mark on the caudal peduncle as you described. The females are more of a beige color with the same caudal peduncle spot, and fins with smaller spots. see here for more details sorry there isn't a pic yet in the profile.
