Right now i have 5 Tiger Barbs, 4 Black Ruby Barbs, 1 Bolivian Ram and 1 Flame Gourami in my 29 gallon. I'd really like something for the bottom to complete the tank. I know i don't have much room left but what would you recommend? I have plastic plants and a brown/tan pebble substrate with plastic plants, a cave and driftwood. Thanks!!!

How about some cories . You can pick any type you like just make sure you get at least 6 of them as they are schooling fish. Some of my suggestions would be Schwartzi , Peppered or Panda. Just take a look at the FP profiles to get some ideas.

Try some kuhuli loaches. you'll need some kind of cave w/ an entrance small enough to keep the barbs out, yet big enough for 2-3 kuhuli loaches. also be sure (for best coloration) that they are REAL kukuli loaches because there are some species that look verry similar. they are as harmless as the real loach, but their colors aren't as cool.

I just saw some Botia Sidthimunki (Dwarf Chain Loach?) at my LFS. I've read about these before but i don't know much about them. I remember hearing that they are harder to find and stay pretty small. I like the look of them. Could i add some to my setup?

I would suggest a school of 6 Corydoras.
