I curently have a topsoil substate that does bad things with my tank.
The fish i actualy have are:

2 blue gouramis;
4 serpae tetra;
2 black shirt tetra;
10 gupy;
5 platy;
5 moly;
1 xipho;
2 ancistrus;
3 CAE;
13 neon tetra;
11 cory;
2 megalechis thoracata catfish;
1 platydoras costatus

My blue gouramy keeps eating neon tetra but he does not eat livebears fry so i need something to eat them
And also i need something that will resist low O2 or high co2 because i have a planted tank and it can get 82*F.
My tank is an 62.5G(250l) tank with 48*18*18inches (120*45*45cm)and the new filter with Gods help will be Rena filstar xp3.

I have thought about angels( How many can i put here with this fish?) and to have a shoal in my tank i'll buy about 8 balck shirt tetras.

The seroae tetra don't bite the fins of guppy and blue gouramy so i think i can put angelfish with them.

What do u think about this?

dukydaf,

Honestly, I don’t know why this would be the case. If you have high CO2 and your plants are not producing O2 then something is not right there. What kind of plants and how many of them do you have? Is it a DIY CO2 system? Do you shut it off at night? What ferts do you use?

If I should be wrong and all your settings are as desired then I would not add any more fish if you already have O2 problems.

Awaiting your response,

Ingo

You are planning to get rid of any of your current stock? If not I personally think you're already overstocked.

I'm planing to get rid of the gupy and platy.

I use a DIY co2 bootle and inject it into aqua el fan1 which makes fine bubbles. I turn it of at night.
I use liquid fertilizer it's called proflora( a est europe fertilizer and the plant have nutrients and light (180W)
I have some stem plants, cryptocorynes, Echinodorus bleheri, nymphea lotus var rumbra, vallisneria and marsilea.
I think taht the high temperature slows down the plants somehow.

dukydaf,

So far, all looks good (plant wise).

Why do you think that your temp would be a reason for your tank NOT to have enough O2? My tank is anywhere between 80F and 84F, depending on how hot it is outside and I have no issues.

What are the signs that lead you to believe the O2 is low? Are the fish gasping at the surface?

Do you have any surface agitation on your tank? (I guess that you wouldn’t need much, as your tank has a nice footprint.)

Do me a favor and calculate your fish inches based on their profile (I am too lazy today).

Talk to you soon,

Ingo
